This set is inspired by Dark Rangers, as seen in Undercity and Dalaran/Northrend. Since the NPC’s wear leather, I had to wing it for transmog. The Blackened Spear’s black spell effect covers the green agility glow, and the chest shows midriff without a shirt.

I’ve always adored purple and green together as a combination, so I wanted to base an outfit on my favourite colour scheme. I started off with the Ruthless Gladiator’s gear which is by far my favourite hunter set in the game. I added a few personal touches with the boots, cloak, bow, and polearm and I’m really pleased with the final look.

Transmog Thursday: Faux Spiritstalker
Every Thursday, I’d like to feature a great looking hunter transmog set. We’ll start off this series with my current transmog set, something I call Faux Spiritstalker.
This is the first non-tier transmog set I put together for myself. It’s a combination of T10 and T13 shaman pieces with a bow from Naxx. This set looks great when paired with the undead vulture pet!
I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. It’s half-raid drops, half-crafted items, so it was pretty easy to put together.

It’s time for Hunter Weapon Transmograpalooza!
4.3 is here today, and with the new patch comes the ability to TRANSMOGRIFY. Being someone who has hoarded weapons and gear since I was level 40-something, I’ve been forming a list of the best stuff out there for years and I thought I would post my top 10 picks.
I tried to keep my lists limited to items that can be farmed since quest reward items tend to be a little harder to obtain [due to the possibility that someone might have already completed the quest and therefore no longer have access to it]. Plus, raid drops tend to be much nicer looking than quest items anyway.

- Golden Bow of Quel’Thalas
- Rifle of the Platinum Guard / Veranus’ Bane

These are some of the best weapons EVER made in the game. Unfortunately, they are no longer obtainable, so they’re very much a “you had to be there” type item.
Frankly, if you were around when these quests/items were available and you don’t use them for transmog, you’re doing it wrong.
